Helprr connects people who need help with skilled helpers nearby.
Open the app, tap 'Post job', describe the job, set a budget, and publish.
After completion, both parties can leave a review in the chat.
From small household tasks to gardening, painting, moving, and more.
Browsing and posting is free. Some jobs may have a small lead fee.
Payments on Helprr are processed securely via Stripe, our payment partner. As a customer you pay the agreed amount upfront when you accept an offer; this amount is held safely in escrow and is only paid out to the helper after the job is completed and you have released the payment via the app or website. If something does not go quite right, contact us at info@helprr.nl so we can help.

That's very easy! Go to your profile settings in the app and turn on the option to also be active as a helper. From that moment on, you can place bids on jobs in your area.
Helprr is not a party in the agreement between customer and helper. We only provide a safe and easy match between both users. If damage occurs, the responsibility lies with the agreements you make together. This is also explicitly described in our terms and conditions. If you can't work it out together, we're open to help as a mediator in finding a solution.

Helprr is available throughout the Netherlands, with most activity in urban areas like the Randstad. You can use Helprr via our app (Android and iOS) or via the website. Wherever you live, you can always post a job or respond to a job.
We recommend downloading the Helprr app, as you'll receive direct notifications when someone responds to your job. This isn't as easily possible via the website. If you only use the website, keep a close eye on your email, or check the website occasionally.
No, Helprr itself does not provide insurance for jobs. Helprr offers a safe matching and payment flow via our payment partner Stripe, but is not an insurer and not a party to the agreement between customer and helper.
In practice this means the customer and helper are responsible for arranging suitable (liability) insurance and for the agreements they make with each other about damage and responsibility. The money paid via Helprr is held safely in escrow until the job is completed and the customer releases the payment.
Good to know:
- •Helprr does not offer its own insurance
- •Customer and helper make their own agreements about damage and liability
- •If damage or a conflict occurs, they first try to find a solution together; Helprr can mediate where possible, but is not a contract party
- •Always check whether your own insurance covers the type of work you commission or carry out

Using your phone number (calling or texting outside the app) is allowed. Keep in mind that arrangements made outside the platform can affect any refund if the job doesn't go ahead for whatever reason. For a smooth process and to protect your payment, we recommend doing communication and agreements as much as possible through the Helprr app.

Before a helper places a bid, they can ask a question via the questions section in your job posting. You can find these questions in the app with your posted job. By responding to them, you help helpers better understand what needs to be done before they place a bid.
You can see this by clicking on the helper's profile. There you'll see information like their location, work experience, and bio. This data often gives a good picture of the person. You'll also see any reviews from previous jobs.

Yes. We strongly recommend actively accepting or rejecting bids. If you do nothing, the helper will unnecessarily wait without clarity. By responding quickly – even if you don't find a bid interesting – you keep the platform active and transparent for everyone.
On Helprr you'll find all kinds of helpers: handy individuals, freelancers, and even companies. In the helper's profile you can often already see what type it is. Have doubts or want to know more? Feel free to ask a question via the chat function before accepting a bid.
For customers we charge 5% mediation costs over the prepaid amount. This amount is charged when you accept a bid.
If the job doesn't go through and you've already made a prepayment, the payment can be reversed if no work has been performed. Contact info@helprr.nl for this.

Complete your profile and respond actively; collect positive reviews.
Via the questions section at the bottom of a job posting you can ask questions to the customer. This is useful if you need extra information before placing a bid. The customer can respond directly via the app, so you can determine if you want to take on the job.
It's important that you have a well-filled profile as a helper. Add a clear bio, indicate which categories you're good at, and upload your relevant work experience. We also always recommend doing the verification. This builds trust with customers and increases your chance of an accepted bid.

You're probably not doing anything wrong, but it's important to make a realistic bid. The target price in a job is often an indication of what the customer is willing to pay. A bid that's well above this is often rejected. Make sure your bid fits the job and your profile comes across as trustworthy.
In your profile you can upload work experience. This is where you can add photos or descriptions of previous work, but also certificates or other documents that show what you can do. It helps build trust with customers who view your profile.
As a helper you pay 5% mediation costs over the bid you made once the job is completed and paid out. You only pay if you've actually completed a job and are paid for it.
If a job doesn't go through after your bid is accepted, the amount won't be paid out. Contact info@helprr.nl so we can mediate and if necessary refund the amount to the customer.
