Check the height of your ceiling
The biggest mistake with an IKEA PAX wardrobe is often the height of the room. Before you even buy a new wardrobe, check if it's not too high for the space where it needs to stand.
The instruction manual is your bible
If you've ever assembled something from IKEA before, you probably know what's up. An instruction manual with few words and many illustrations. That you must follow very carefully and precisely. Also read through the manual carefully. Check the materials you need. These are the shelves, but also the screws. Also organize the screws neatly together to get an overview and not lose anything.
Time must be on your side
Mistakes are especially made when everything has to be done in a rush. That's why it's important to take the time to assemble the PAX wardrobe. Set aside more than 2 hours for this task, put on comfortable clothes, and do everything step by step. Once you've assembled the frame, you still have plenty to do, so don't count yourself rich yet!
